Transformation of old space into medium voltage cabin
Amazing transformation project of an old non-technical space into a medium voltage station. At the request of Ghent Motor Company, a medium voltage switchgear solution was installed for BYD Belux in Sint-Martens-Latem. The medium voltage cubicles were supplied by our partner SGC – SwitchgGear Company. The ring main unit switchgear are from the DR-6 product series.

The transformer has a capacity of 630 kVA. The RMU can withstand severe weather and environmental conditions. The project will be connected to Fluvius‘ smart grid in accordance with Synergrid C2/112 specifications. Check out the before and after photos below!
