Straco House – Sint-Martens-Latem

New energy infrastructure in Sint-Martens-Latem

For the Straco House project in Sint-Martens-Latem, Deba realized the delivery and installation of a new medium-voltage cabin.

The precast concrete cabin was fully integrated on the site and adapted to the applicable technical and safety standards. This ensures that the building has a stable and future-proof energy supply.

Technical equipment

Installation includes:

  • CDC type BX134 precast concrete cabin

  • 630 kVA transformer

  • DR-6F 2KT medium voltage switchgear in accordance with Fluvius requirements

  • Integrated measurement and low voltage distribution

This configuration ensures safe connection to the grid and efficient energy distribution within the building.

Execution of works

Deba was in charge of full implementation at the site:

  • Site preparation

  • Installation of the prefab cabin

  • Equipotential grounding via a ground loop around the cabin

All works were carried out according to the applicable technical regulations and with attention to safety and quality.

Result

With this new medium voltage installation, Straco House has a reliable and sustainable energy solution.

This project underscores Deba’s expertise in total energy infrastructure solutions, from engineering to commissioning.
