New HS installation via elevator shaft
New high voltage system installed through elevator shaft.
Our people at Deba installed a new high-voltage installation for the new Redevco project in Ixelles.
The special aspect of this project was that the new medium-voltage cubicles and the accompanying transformer of 1000 kVA, weighing +/- 2.6 tons, had to be placed one floor down via the elevator shaft.
The photos show how the medium-voltage cubicles and transformer were first hoisted up a platform, and then connected to the tower crane and lowered through the roof of the elevator shaft, one floor below.
A real feat of craftsmanship!
