Look ahead and order your HS station now
Look ahead and order your high-voltage prefab station now
We have now reached week 7 in the corona crisis. At Deba, we have remained operational all this time and are eager to prepare for the economic restart. Indeed, the recent signs are positive and an “exit team” has been appointed by the government to prepare for the wind-down the first , albeit tentative, plans and prospects are in place. That means it is expected that deferred orders will begin to roll in simultaneously at all companies.
In order to avoid scheduling and delivery problems and thus ensure your business security, we ask all of our customers to submit and confirm their orders for current dossiers now. This allows us to prepare the sites and place the necessary orders. This saves both you and us time and you are assured of delivery by the specified deadline.
Moreover, did you know… That Deba not only offers you a fast, flexible, sustainable and safe medium-voltage solution but also a 100% Belgian supply chain has? We can’t ignore it anymore. In the media, we hear it from all sides: “Buy Local,” “Buy Belgian,” “Shop Harts,” these are just some of the slogans used to encourage you to make your purchases locally as much as possible, to order on Belgian websites, and thus to rekindle and support the local economy. So by ordering from Deba, you are supporting a 100% local network of businesses and families. While most of our colleagues work with materials imported from major brands, our medium voltage boards come from SGC-SwitchGear Company, the only manufacturer in Belgium that makes this material. In 2016, SGC was awarded the “Most Promising Belgian Maker Award” because of their efforts made around sustainability, circular economy and innovations to keep the Belgian Manufacturing industry here. All the sheet metal and various metalwork comes from Femaco or Robby in Landegem. Even the sheets purchased are Belgian because they are manufactured at Sidmar in Zelzate and cut at Vergalle in Oudenaarde. Paintwork is carried out by V coat, pieces are pre-treated at Erogal and/or silvered at AG-Plating. Even the components built into the medium-voltage cubicles come from Flanders. The circuit breakers, protection relays, load break switches, drive mechanisms, arc-killers, etc. are all made in Deinze at Mevoco. Turning comes from De Decker, injection molding comes from Feronyl in Mouscron. The precast concrete enclosures we install are manufactured at CDC-Cabines de Ciney in Ciney, the doors and ventilation grilles are also from Robby. All these companies work with local transporters and companies, have their machinery and company buildings repaired and maintained by local people and also employ local temporary workers. Altogether, we are talking about direct employment of several thousand employees, more than 180 of whom work for the group to which Deba belongs.
In addition to the fact that we are Belgian and purchase more than 90% Belgian products for our own production, we also support several people who are distanced from the labor market by doing welding work at the sheltered workshop Mariasteen, assembly work at Demival, and making use of Mirto’s green service, among others. This is just a small selection from the list of suppliers that Deba uses every time an order comes in from a client. In total, there are hundreds of large and small Belgian companies that employ many families. They will all be grateful for your support by buying locally.
