Always shift safely with the “Vital 5/8″!
Focus on safety
At Deba, we strongly focus on safety and how to responsibly switch medium-voltage equipment. Just before the start of the spring break, sixth-year students in Electrical Engineering from the Don Bosco Institute in Sint-Denijs-Westrem visited our medium-voltage site in Landegem. At one of the test stations in the production area of SGC-SwitchGear Company, an employee explained the so-called “Vital 5/8”. In that roadmap, you will find detailed guidelines on how to safely switch at medium-voltage installations. By following this detailed plan, we bring the risk of errors or accidents in that area to zero. That principle fits perfectly with Deba’s mission plan.
