Deba nv anti-arc kit Thanks to a well-thought pressure-releasing system, the arc will at all times be restricted to the compartment in which it developed. The arc will not propagate towards the operator or to other compartments.

Over-pressure valves at the back The DF-2 cubicles are provided with over-pressure valves at the back, which are pointed downwards. The four valves are evenly distributed across the total height of the cells: the upper valve for the bus-bar compartment and the three other valves for both the cable compartment and the apparatus compartment.

Extended cover The cubicle covers have been extended in the depth by 100 mm.

Reinforced side panels Two standardly supplied, reinforced side plates completely close off the medium-voltage switchgear on the left and on the right, right up to the wall. This way, an expansion room is created along the total width and height of the medium-voltage switchgear.

For applications in the accessible concrete prefabricated cabins, the anti-arc kit ensures guidance of the gases to the basement room. For this purpose, a grommet is provided in the floor plate at the wall side.

The DF-2 cubicles are tested by Kema for arc-proofness for 16kA/1s. at a nominal voltage of 17.5kV according to IEC 60298-1, appendix AA, 6 criteria with a current of 20 kA. The load-break switch was tested according to IEC 60265-01 / class E3, third edition 1998/ 01.
